IT Operator
Reports to the IT supervisor. Responsible for providing and maintaining computer maintenance and assisting employees and supervisors with IT support.
Qualifications
Education
College diploma or the equivalent
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
Licenses
Must obtain and maintain registration with Nevada Gaming Control Board.
Other
Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
Excellent communication skills.
Must have excellent verbal and written English communication skills to effectively communicate with employees, supervisors and handle external calls. Must possess strong working knowledge of personal computer hardware and software. Ability to assist in resolving calls from users. . Must have the ability to withstand noisy and smoke filled environments. Must be 21 years of age or older. With or without reasonable accommodations must have the ability to see, speak, type and hear to effectively communicate with employees and supervisors over the telephone, computer and in person. Must have full use of hands and fingers to type on computers, use screwdriver to fix computers, and write reports, and answer telephone. Must have the ability to sit 30%, stand 20%, walk 20%, run 2%, squat 3%, bend 10%, twist 3%, lift 5%, kneel 2%, crawl 3%, and reach above shoulders 2% during a normal workday. Must be able to lift up to 74 lbs.

Performs installations, upgrades and configurations and on going maintenance of applications on all systems.
