Essential Functions:
• Promotes awareness of Information Protection policies, standards and procedures to users through daily interactions.
• Works with other KP-IT staff to assess security access control compliance.
• Assists in the development and implementation of Information Protection policies, standards, procedures and guidelines.
• Reports security compliance exceptions.
• Review and monitor security logs and violation reports and follows-up as appropriate.
• Assists in the assessment of development, testing and implementation plan of Information Protection controls.
• Ensures that the Application Product Team implements security controls in new and existing applications.
• Participates in the review of security features of new software.
• Assists in performing Information Protection awareness training.
• Communicates security incidents expeditiously, both internally and externally, according to guidelines.
• Escalates identified security incidents to higher level resources.
Qualifications
 
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in a related field and/or a minimum of 4 years of equivalent work experience.
• A minimum of 0-2 years of Information Technology (IT) experience including development, implementation, communication, monitoring and maintenance of information security policies and procedures.

Computer Operations: includes monitoring of computing systems and jobs, monitoring production jobs for abnormal conditions and take corrective actions, assuring quality control while monitoring of mainframe, midrange, server and network environments and components.
Essential Functions:• Observes and assists in the operation of all computer related peripheral equipment (e.g. tapes, printers, scanners).
• Monitors and responds to I/O activities.
• Escalates media or hardware problems as appropriate.
• Ensures quality control measures.
• Consults with senior level and/or technical staff when the cause of problem is not apparent. May assist in restart of jobs.
• Receives direct but not constant supervision. Competent to work on several phases of computer operations with only general direction, but requires some instruction and guidance for other phases.
Qualifications

 The Data Analyst is responsible for supporting the business community needs for data collection, analysis, and reporting from a variety of sources including mainframe files, data warehouse reports, and vendor extracts. The Data Analyst will collect, organize, and analyze data for easy use by CSC Finance Accountants and internal business partners, and serve as an expert on data availability and quality.

Description
 
This individual performs as a technical and industry resource in the operational support of Radiological Information Systems (RIS) & Dictation/Transcription (DTS) within the Medical Imaging Sub-Portfolio department for the Care Delivery BIO. This position will help ensure that solution designs meet agreed upon requirements and milestones for deployment and support. The RIS application is a mission critical care delivery system. 
 
Essential Functions:
• Learns the basics of the application and the applicable business / operational areas supported by the application.
• Monitor various application components and queues to ensure availability and reports issues or discrepancies.
• Responsible for analysis of complex business requirements, systems upgrades, workflows, application functions and capabilities.
• Consults with clients, researching and troubleshooting issues to understand software build steps needed for production environment of business application.
• Works collaboratively with implementation teams to ensure process design, interface development, testing and implementation and user training are performed to quality standards.
• Report on work progress and metrics using various MS Office & other reporting tools based on pre-determined criteria.
• Utilizes analysis to collaborate with users, analysts and consultants to determine solutions and required configurations to meet business requirements.
• Assist Leads to prepare builds for implementation into production and makes adjustments as necessary.
• May perform root cause analysis and offer resolution options.
• Opportunity to identify areas for work flow and process improvements. Vets ideas with team and works through applications improvements for implementation.
• Learns the impact of the application on the organization and interdependencies. Articulates and communicates this impact to other employees and Business Partners.

Qualifications
 
Basic Qualifications:

•  2+ years experience or equivalent with MS Windows Administration.
•  2+ years experience or equivalent using SQL, PL/SQL, or distributed structure programming languages.
•  2+ years demonstrated problem solving skills
•  Experience using MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint, MS Project and Visio)
•  Excellent communication skills (written, verbal)
·  Basic knowledge of networking - TCP/IP, etc.

Associate Technical Application Specialist

Kaiser Permanente is heavily investing in new capabilities to support Health Plan claims processing through the implementation of a national multi-year, multi-million dollar IT claims project to replace legacy claims systems across our regions with the state of the art EPIC Tapestry claims application.  The Health Plan Claims IT Sub-Portfolio is seeking a highly motivated Associate Technical Application Specialist who will utilize their claims experience and analytical skills to drive a standardized configuration and deployment of this new application for our various regions.  This position is within Information Technology and requires both exceptional systems analysis skills as well as a strong business-focused background. 

The ideal candidate will be able to work as part of the team as well as provide direction and training as needed to other team members.

Responsibilities:
·        Assist with the analysis of business requirements, application workflows and needed capabilities in collaboration with vendor, business and IT partners
·         Utilizes analysis to collaborate with users, analysts and consultants to determine application solutions and required configurations to meet business requirements
·         Collaboratively works with clients and other Technical Specialists to streamline application work flow, processes and integration with other business applications
·         Learn about  the impact of the application on the organization and interdependencies. 
·         Participate in discussions with national and regional Care Delivery and Health Plan organizations utilizing the EPIC suite of products to reach agreement on shared application configurations
·         Configures application based on analysis and collaborations to implement ongoing application releases
·         Assists with the assignment objectives, assist with the plans schedules and arranges own activities in accomplishing objectives.
·         Work is reviewed by management at key intervals for advice and guidance prior to completion.
·         Coordinates with business and IT partners to identify cross-project dependencies
·         Helps with the change requests for application enhancements including requirements gathering, solution options and cost estimation
·         Completes application configurations as directed by team members and/or vendor
·         Tests application configurations and  builds or does unit testing in non-production environments and reports on outcomes noting issues
·         Monitors implementations into production and determines configuration adjustments as necessary
·         Establishes and sustains strong ongoing relationships with KP-IT and business

Qualifications
  
Basic/Minimum Qualifications:
              
·         Bachelor's degree or 4 years of equivalent work experience.
·         A minimum of 0 to 2 years of professional experience in analysis of business requirements, workflows and application capabilities.
·         Applies acquired job skills and company policies and procedures to complete assigned tasks.
·         Understands the basics of the application and the applicable business / operational areas supported by the application. 

Preferred Qualifications

·         Experience with and certification in one or more of EPIC suite applications, Tapestry AP Claims preferred
·         Demonstrated facilitation, collaboration, documentation, and presentation skills.
·         Demonstrated capability to work with both Technical and Business resources.
·         Demonstrated capability to lead a team towards a common project goal.
·         Ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships with Business and IT resources.
·         Knowledge of claims process workflows in the Health Plan industry
·         Knowledge and/or direct experience in Claims business / operational area supported by application
·         Excellent oral and written communications skills.
·         Excellent problem solving and "decision making" skills.
·         Must have demonstrated success working in a matrix team environment for a large organization
·         Ability to understand business needs and translate them into application solutions.
