About This Position
 Job Summary
Under the direction of the Radiologist and/or Radiology Manager. Performs clerical duties pertaining to the greeting, registration and scheduling of patients, as well as other related duties as needed.

Demonstrates the ability to understand the unique infant/child, adolescent, adult and geriatric population and effectively meet those needs relative to growth, assessment and development of the patients. Assumes responsibilities for designated areas or procedures as required. Maintains a cordial and professional work environment.

Experience
Two years clerical experience Clerical experience preferabley in a Radiology department.

Education
High School Graduate or equivalent. Basic typing skills. Knowledge of medical terminology.

Licensure
Basic Life Support CPR.

SUMMARY OF DUTIES
The Sr. Technical Analyst implements and supports a broad range of facility-based IT&S equipment. As the key technical service resource within the facility, the Sr. Technical Analyst is responsible for the set-up and repair of facility-based, end-user infrastructure and resolution of desktop incidents and requests reported by facility users to the service desk. Advanced hands-on technical support is provided across a broad range of technical areas. Problems beyond the scope of ability or responsibility are communicated in a timely manner to appropriate division-level support staff. The Sr. Technical Analyst participates in 24x7 on-call support with other members of the division staff. The Sr. Technical Analyst adheres to and supports HCA IT policies and procedures, and recommends process changes that improve the implementation, maintenance and support of facility-based IT equipment. The Sr. Technical Analyst assists with facility-based project planning, strategic planning, and supplements on-site support to technical resources, as needed.
DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO
  • Implements and supports the broadest range of facility-based IT&S equipment, including but not limited to network equipment, servers, terminals, personal computers, printers, cabling, related software products
  • Provides advanced, hands-on technical support across a broad range of technical user problems; repairs equipment and performs preventative maintenance
  • Communicates and escalates incidents and requests beyond scope of ability to senior service resources
  • Logs and tracks incidents and requests; reviews incident and request tracking databases
  • Provides 24x7 on-call support based on division IT staff rotation, and carries a pager as warranted
  • Investigates hardware problems and performs minor system hardware and communication connection repairs
  • Acts as facility lead on technical project implementations; coordinates infrastructure-based needs for facilitybased new construction

GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES - The Patient Access Supervisor is responsible for the daily operations of all functions and serves as the liaison between the Service Center and the facility.  The Patient Access Supervisor integrates the department's services with the hospital's primary functions, develops/implements policies and procedures that guide or support service, assesses and improves department performance, and ensures orientation and continuing education of departmental staff.  As the leader, this person may recommend resources/space needed by the department and may participate in the selection of outside services.  They serve as a key promoter of the Service Center, which strives to meet and exceed the needs of its customers.

DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
·         Staff and order supplies according to budget guidelines and department needs
·         Assist with the processing of payroll for his/her direct reports by maintaining employee edit requests, PTO requests, etc.
·         Maintain accurate attendance records for employees
·         Maintain QA statistics (including patient wait times, etc.) and report results to the Director
·         Assist with or performs employee evaluations with input from Director
·         Directly oversee the daily activities of the registration areas to ensure department standards are met
·         Continually educate all registration staff of any changes pertinent to their roles
·         When appropriate, relieve staff members during employee sick/vacation time
·         Secure all signatures necessary for treatments, release of medical information, assignment of insurance benefits and payment of services from legally responsible patients
·         Work closely and professionally with nursing and ancillary departments in an effort to maintain a teamwork approach
·         Review daily pre-service log to ensure accounts have been activated
·         Excel in all functions performed by patient representatives
·         Update collection system and requests rebill when appropriate
·         Collect/request deposits and copays
·         Assume on-call responsibilities to ensure adequate staffing and problem-solving

·         Schedule and assist with evaluation processes; helps resolve patient and employee concerns

·         Attends in-service presentations, and complete mandatory education week including, but not limited to, infection control, patient safety, quality improvements, MSDS and OSHA Standards.
