Description
Responsible for supporting the user community through the installation, configuration, maintenance and repair of network systems, workstations and other computer hardware.
Responsible for resolution of problems and the implementation of new functionality for network systems.
Responsible for knowledge associated with networking technologies.
Responsible for administering Phone Switch and Voicemail systems.
Employee has willingness and ability to perform additional duties in different areas of the department/hospital on an as-needed basis.
Communicates well with co-workers, management, employees and physicians, reporting problems with equipment, supplies, or procedures.
Consistently strives to understand, anticipate and meet the needs, expectations and satisfaction of patients, visitors, co-workers and medical staff.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED. Industry or technical training or equivalent experience (2 years or more) preferred.
Two (2) years experience with technical support of network and telephone systems, related hardware components, or equivalent technical training. Basic Lucent switch, MS Office, Windows, Novell, and Exchange experience is essential. Server administration, troubleshooting, time management, and interpersonal skills required.
