JOB SUMMARY:

The IT Security Administrator will process security requests in accordance with audit, security and compliance requirements, ensure requests are processed timely so as to meet customer service levels, and troubleshoot and resolve security access problems.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:                                     

Support security solutions for distributed systems in a multi-site, multi-platform enterprise environment.

• Process security requests (ESRs and tickets) in compliance with audit and security requirements. 
• Protect company systems, business applications and sensitive information by ensuring required approvals are obtained and recorded and security best practices are observed in all security administration activity.
• Meet service levels for timely processing of requests. 
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve security access problems.
• Document work performed on requests and problems in company ticketing system.
• Maintain current and complete documentation of all security processes.
• Support internal, external and customer audit processes as directed.
• Consistently demonstrate mastery of all technical and procedural requirements of the role.
• Understand and follow all company policies for security administration and handling of sensitive information, including HIPAA requirements for handling of Protected Health Information (PHI).
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Business, MIS or commensurate professional experience
• Two years experience in Information Technology, including experience handling security requests at a multi-application/multi-platform technical environment.   
• Demonstrate familiarity with security controls for key technologies and/or processes relevant to this position, including Active Directory, Windows, Unix, Exchange, Sharepoint, Oracle, Cognos and custom business applications.
• Ability to work well across departmental lines and to communicate complex technical issues in writing and verbally to a diverse audience.
• Drive to be a positive influence and professional example.
• Microsoft certifications, Security+ or other security certifications a plus.

Certify Data Systems is looking for a Healthcare Implemenation Analyst to deploy its suite of products into the healthcare market. You will use your extensive knowledge of our products along with your knowledge of clinical EMRs, hospital/lab information systems and interface engines to create a deployment plan tailored to the customer. You will work with the customer to successfully execute the plan. Following deployment, you will hand off support to Certify’s technical support group.

As a Healthcare Implementation Analyst you will consult with associates in other business areas, identifying business requirements and translating those requirements into system specifications. You will also act as a subject matter lead on special projects, providing accurate and timely analysis, design, testing and documentation of complex systems tasks.

Work with customers and the sales team to understand customer requirements.
Prepare deployment plans, communicate to customer, and gain customer sign-off.
Configure, test and deploy our software products in the field or remotely.
Investigate and resolve any deployment problems. Work with product management and development to define product enhancements that better serve our customers.
Use appropriate tools (bug tracking, CRM) to determine the nature of any product issues and communicate to the engineering team. Communicate in a timely manner with customers and management.

 

Qualifications

 Role Essentials

AA Degree technical degree (computer science or other discipline)
Hands-on experience deploying applications into Windows OR Linux environments.
Strong written and oral communication skills are required along with solid change management and documentation skills.

Role Desirables

Knowledge of HL7 messaging, clinical EMRs and/or hospital information systems is a plus
Knowledge and experience with healthcare organizations, medical terminology and healthcare system business processes is desired.
Planning and deploying software products in a healthcare environment.
Experience in the Quality Assurance (QA) process is desired.
Understanding of Oracle a plus.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
