Description
 
POSITION SUMMARY (includes, but is not limited to):
Responsible for interviewing patients and completing all admissions and registration functions.  Provides all prior notifications and is responsible for ensuring outstanding public relations. Works closely with other Hospital departments to assure that physician and patient satisfaction and quality of services are maintained and improved.  Ensures that contacts with the Admissions Department are positively enhanced by serving as a resource for patients, families of patients, and Hospital management & staff.  Supervises monitors for performance improvement studies as requested.  Receives cash payments, issues receipts, posts cash payment data. Works with all departments, especially Physicians, Business Office, Medical Records, and Nursing.  Works closely with Hospital management, patients & family members, insurance companies, and vendors.
  
Qualifications
 
Education:             
High school graduate or equivalent.
 
Experience:           
Previous experience in admissions and/or business office setting required. Cashiering experience required
 
Special Skills:       
Requires ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with others, and to accept constructive criticism.  Must be able to maintain confidentiality.  Must be able to type accurately, perform computer word processing, and operate standard office equipment, including fax and copy equipment. Requires prolonged sitting, standing and some bending.

The IT Support Technician will be the initial helpdesk contact for hardware and software support of all network and phone system problems. This person will ensure all issues are logged and tracked through resolution.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Primary individual to answer IT Helpdesk calls and log technology problems
  •  Handles and corrects day to day issues with network and phone system or escalates as needed
  •  Monitors helpdesk ticketing system and provides summary reports to manager
  • Solicits, records, reviews, creates, simplifies, and implements suggestions for improving
  • organizational procedures utilizing established processes
  • Assists in creations of new or simplifying current processes
  • Prepares statistical reports as request by manager
  • Maintains confidentiality of all information contained in NVHC system
  • Travels when necessary
  • Assist in maintaining/monitoring network security
  • Assists in ensuring data integrity
  • Conducts/coordinates employee training as needed
  • Ensures proper computer procedures are followed as per NVHC policy and procedure
  • Performs other work related duties as requested by manager
  • Ensures compliance with HIPAA, OSHA & other regulatory agencies
  • High School diploma or equivalent and experience in hardware/software support.
  • Experience in support of Microsoft computer environmentspreferred.

 Job Summary

Experience
