PACS IT Analyst III – Northern CA or Southern CA - (13004832) 
 
We are looking for a PACS IT Analyst III to work in our Northern California Region or Southern California Region. 
 
This person will work independently as well as in collaboration with broader teams.  The PACS IT Analyst III will create and utilize various tools and methods to provide support to end users, projects and business leaders on a regular and ad hoc basis.  This position is responsible for working with project sponsors, IT site directors, ministry leaders and project managers to assess, analyze and develop business needs and requirements for potential IS projects/initiatives.  This position is also responsible for compiling and reporting data in formal and informal documents including reports and dashboards. 
 
Minimum Position Qualifications:  
 
Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent level of related work experience 
  • Minimum 4 years of experience supporting a high volume healthcare Radiology PACS environment.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience with Radiology PACS application design, implementation, maintenance and support.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience working within a Radiology PACS workflow environment
  • Minimum 4 years fundamental knowledge of PACS network and server architectures
Preferred
  • Extensive knowledge and experience in Radiology department workflow
  • Extensive experience with Fuji Synapse PACS application
  • Experience working with Radimetrics eXposure application
  • Experience working in a fast paced, large healthcare environment
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
Required Experience

  • On-call duties as assigned
  • Generally less than 25% travel
 
Essential Functions
 
Application Technical Support
  • Manage application access requests processes
  • Manage application anomalies workflow
  • Manage application data integrity and security processes
  • Manage application incident and request queue 
DICOM Modalities and System Integration
  • Serve as escalation resource for IT ANALYST II in support of Radiology image modality troubleshooting processes  
Information Technology
  • Manage the support engagement  for ministry related application projects, tasks, and initiatives
  • Participates with team members in strategic design meetings which promote innovation and growth to the application environment
  • Manage improvement initiatives in system uptime, system efficiency, technology innovation and advancement.
  • Proactively evaluates the clinical environment and manages deployment of technology solutions that enhance efficient delivery of data to clinical end users
  • Participates in team rotating call schedule that provides business hours and after business hours application support
  • Participates in meetings as requested to serve as technical liaison in support of application requests, changes, or modifications.
  • Other duties assigned to accommodate regional support requirements 
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Develops and maintains common project artifact repositories (e.g., Sharepoint, Quickbase)
  • Assists with the development of RFIs and RFPs as needed; provides analysis in identifying and evaluating all potential business/technology/vendor solutions including the development of RFIs and RFPs as required
  • Develops ancillary artifacts such as business requirements, workflow diagrams, business process diagrams, gap analysis, technical diagrams (including integration and interface requirements), presentations, etc., to support project work
  • Assists project managers with the development and execution of project plans and associated project documentation
  • Participates in ongoing staff development activities and System Office activities which enhance both internal and inter-departmental relationships
