Position Description
Responsible for research and fact-finding to develop or modify information systems. Works with users in preparing detailed specifications from which programs will be written. Analyzes and revises existing system logic difficulties and documentation as necessary.
POSITION DUTIES Analyze, design, and make recommendations to improve existing systems and/or methods, and provide written, detailed reports of such.
• Assess assigned user areas for efficiencies and effectiveness. Evaluate alternative services and technology solutions on an ongoing basis and assures cost-effective solutions.
• Coordinate the preparation of departmental and interdepartmental policies and procedures, job functions, operating procedures, manuals, and system documentation.
• Maintain complete and up-to-date project documentation for all assigned projects.
• Assist with a variety of related projects on an ad hoc basis.

WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
• 1 years programming & systems analysis/designand/or equivalent work experience. Knowledge of healthcare operations preferred. Organized, self-starter. Must be able to work independently.

Associate Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field. Equivalent work experience considered.
