    The Systems Analyst reports to the Director Applications Services and is responsible for planning and coordinating all of the project management and functions of the I/T Departments at CMC. Provides software and hardware technical and project support, consulting, analysis and testing of primarily non-clinical applications for all CMC end-users and IT staff utilizing information technology and is delegated responsibility for specified systems and applications. The incumbent is responsible for leading the development and routine review and updates of assigned IT project plans, and for helping to communicate them throughout CMC on a regular basis. The incumbent will also act as an internal IT consultant for special projects and assignments throughout CMC on planning and IT-related projects. The incumbent is responsible for assisting the CMC staff in identifying and promoting technologies that meet the requirements of CMC. The incumbent is responsible for establishing and directing the activities of cross-functional implementation teams that include representatives from departments outside of IT and for delivering these services to the entire CMC organization. The Clinical Systems Analyst operates in a complex and demanding healthcare environment, as measured in a number of dimensions. First, CMC is a complex healthcare organization engaged in a wide variety of healthcare programs, activities and settings. Second, CMC operates over a wide geographic area, centering on Western Montana, and bringing with it the requirement for occasional travel and the challenges of remote coordination, implementation and support for a rich and diverse set of clinical computer applications, operations, and systems,
    Minimum Required:  College degree or equivalent experience. 1 -2 years as systems analyst or equivalent experience. Recent/relevant Project Management, computer skills (Microsoft Office) and technical experience. Good communication skills, ability to work independently. System implementation experience required and experience in managing a systems project from initiation to completion. Must be willing to be on call and available within 30 minutes on a rotating schedule.
    Preferred/Desired:  Degree in Information Systems. 2 years as Systems Analyst or equivalent experience. Systems analysis and design, database concepts, cost and benefit analysis.
    On call rotation required
