Basic Purpose Responsible for the installation, detailed configuration, and sustained day-to-day administration of a business application known as the Demand Response Management System, an enterprise software system. This system integrates to many systems that manages all aspects of running demand response programs including enrollment, field workforce management, device management, communications, forecasting, and optimization. Provides technical expertise, problem solving and troubleshooting assistance to ensure system operation at expected performance levels. Essential Duties and Responsibilities 1. Performs general system management and issue resolution. - Monitors the health of the system utilizing system metrics; reports to management and key stakeholders as appropriate. - Tracks system service level agreements and manages to contract expectations. - Conducts initial assessment of system issues and implements plan to resolve. - Tracks firmware and hardware versions of key system devices. - Ensures that endpoints are delivering data on schedule and as expected.
2. Provides technical expertise and problem solving assistance in support of business applications. - Responsible for the administration of a business application including application settings, task management and troubleshooting. - Responds to and resolves technical support requests. - Escalates application problems to internal and/or external technical support teams as appropriate.
3. Interfaces with key stakeholders including system analysts and vendors.
4. Serves as the primary operator for field acceptance testing.
5. Performs related duties as assigned. .
Requirements
Education and Work Experience Bachelors degree in the area of specialty and 0 - 3 years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Specialized Knowledge and Skills General understanding of IT architecture concepts, principles, and standards. Knowledge of position-specific programming or scripting languages. Ability to balance competing priorities. Demonstrated problem solving, troubleshooting, research and reasoning skills. Equipment and Applications PCs, word processing, spreadsheet and database software. Specific applications and systems as required by position. Work Environment and Physical Demands General office environment. No special physical demands required.
