Primary Responsibilities:
- Monitor actual encounter submission and acceptance rates to meet state requirements and internal goals
- Review, research, investigate and correct encounter pends/rejects/bypasses
- Develop short or long-term solutions and process improvements by identifying root causes using data files, provider files, diagnosis files, etc.
- Document and present findings to health plan leadership, operations or IT partners
- Generally work self-directed and not prescribed
- Works with less structured, more complex issues

Requirements
Requirements:
- 3+ years of healthcare operations experience
- 3+ years Business Analysis experience
- Intermediate MS Office (MS Word, Excel, and Access) skills are a must.
- Experience working with and analyzing large quantities of data is required.
- A healthcare background is required
Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree is preferred.
- Working a matrix is a plus
- Medical claims knowledge highly preferred
- Working with PL/SQL within the Oracle Data base is preferred
